TalkLive is a free, anonymous way to talk to someone new by voice or text, right from your browser. One tap connects you to a real person somewhere in the world. No sign-up, no video and no recordings.

The internet makes it easy to scroll past millions of people and hard to actually talk to one. TalkLive brings back spontaneous conversation, like chatting with a stranger on a train, except the train spans the whole planet.
Open TalkLive, tap one button, and within seconds you are talking to a real person in another city or on another continent. When the conversation ends, tap again for someone new.
Your voice, or just your words
Every conversation starts with a choice between two buttons:
- Tap to Talk starts a live one-to-one voice call with your mic on. It is audio only, so nobody judges how you look.
- Tap to Chat starts a text conversation with no mic at all. It suits late nights, shared rooms and shy days.
You can also set a preferred partner (male, female or everyone) before you start.
Stay anonymous. Pick an avatar.
On TalkLive you have no profile photo, no real name and no follower count. Instead you pick an avatar, such as a lion, a fox, a wizard or a pirate. That is all the other person sees, and it gives you both an easy way to start talking.
- Private by design. No email, phone number or real name is needed to start.
- Encrypted calls. Voice uses encrypted WebRTC, and TalkLive never records or stores call audio.
- Real safety tools. You can report or block instantly, repeat offenders are banned, and the site is strictly 18+. Read more on safety.
Nothing to install, nothing to sign
TalkLive runs in any modern browser on your phone, tablet or computer. There is no app store, no download and no account wall in front of the first conversation.
If a conversation clicks, you can add each other as friends and call back later without ever swapping phone numbers. A planned Premium plan adds gender and country filters.

Is TalkLive free?
Yes. Voice calls and text chat are free. A Premium plan with extra filters is planned but not on sale. See pricing.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start a voice call or text chat without signing up, giving an email or a phone number. An account is only needed for extras like keeping friends.
Are calls recorded?
No. Voice uses encrypted WebRTC, and TalkLive does not record or store call audio.
Who can use TalkLive?
TalkLive is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Everyone agrees to the community guidelines before their first call.
Is TalkLive like Omegle?
